Install in three steps

  1. Open the downloaded ZIP to unzip Egress Beta.
  2. Move Egress Beta to your Applications folder.
  3. Open Egress Beta normally. If macOS asks whether to open an app downloaded from the internet, choose Open.

If macOS says it cannot verify the app or blocks it, stop and contact support. No security-setting change is needed.

Start with a name

Try searching for Redwater or Pembina. Open a record to see its source and reporting date, and use Sources & coverage to understand what is included. The app uses Apple Maps for its basemap; searches stay on your device.

Records can describe individual units or reporting boundaries as well as facilities. Verify important decisions against current authoritative evidence. Do not use Egress for navigation, excavation or emergency response.

You can also use the map in your browser. The iPhone TestFlight beta is not yet available.
